Excalibur TwinStrike Double Shot Crossbow

The Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow is here! We’ve all heard of double-barrel shotguns, but a double rail crossbow? Not so much…..

Enter the Excalibur TwinStrike Hunting Crossbow – the first of its kind to offer a second follow-up shot as fast as you can pull the trigger.

Give ’em both rails!

That’s right, the Twin Strike comes loaded with two sets of rails, two limbs, and two triggers.

The Charger EXT draw crank mounts to the rear of the stock to draw the bottom string first, followed by the top string.

A 2 Shot Hunting Crossbow That’s Big On Innovation & Features

An integrated bubble level mounted below the rear of the scope is a unique new feature allowing the shooter to check level while looking through the scope.

two shot crossbowThe reticle is a series of dots vs a series of stacked reticles. It takes some getting used to but really clears up the sight picture and makes it clutter-free once the shooter gets used to it.

Extra thin limbs are used to reduce overall vibration which is a great feature, especially for a vibration-prone recurve style design. The thin limbs are also lightweight and really do lighten up the front end nicely.

The riser design is very well engineered and made to absorb vibration and increase limb life. The 4 bolt riser design with integrated dampening is rock solid on the Excalibur TwinStrike Crossbow.

Brace height markers are on the rail to really help with tuning the bow.

Twin Strike reviews love the new stock design which is super comfortable to shoot and easy to adjust for different shooter sizes.

And speaking of scope the Twin Strike features Excaliburs’ new Overwatch crossbow scope which provides enhanced low light performance for better accuracy at dusk and dawn.

The Overwatch is a 30mm scope tube with 2x -500 magnification and a speed adjust ring from 300 to 475 FPS.double arrow crossbow

At 50 yards, both rails are designed to shoot dead on, with 1.5″ groups at 20-40 yards.

Each of the 2 triggers features a super crisp 4-pound pull which is on the heavy side but a nice safety feature. The front trigger fires the top rail, and the rear trigger fires the bottom rail.

The quiver is also an upgrade with a very quiet and easy to use TightSpot design.

A new knocking system called the “Rhino Knock” works hand in hand with the Cease-Fire anti-dry-fire system which is extremely dependable and robust. The arrows really “lock” into place noticeably when properly loaded and ready for action.

The main grip is over-molded and extra wide for extra stability when shooting.

Is it legal to hunt with the Excalibur TwinStrike double shot crossbow?

Yes, as of this writing it is legal in all 50 states according to Excalibur but always check the regulations to be sure!

And YES, you can shoot both rails at the same time for that realistic “Give Em’ Both Barrels” experience!

Early reviews of the Excalibur Twinstrike double shot crossbow are very positive with many shooters impressed with the design, balance, accuracy, and durability built into this unique, cutting-edge hunting crossbow.

The thin limb design offers low vibration with enough weight savings to counter the fact that the crossbow has 4 limbs instead of the 2 limb design most models have.

Despite the 4 limbs, the TwinStrike is not said to be overly nose heavy.
